i can’t handle his best friend’s addiction
i want him to stop texting
stop answering the phone
i need a rest from pain entering
our apartment.
i use therapy words like
“flooding”
“triggering”
it even sounds like bullshit to me.
i just need a rest
only having my garden roses
surrounding me
my mother’s favorite
all planted for her.
she wanted to live and couldn’t.
he wants to die and can’t.
